Who builds CalBharat and why
CalBharat is a free, independent finance calculator platform built for Indian users. It brings together 26 calculators, EMI, income tax, SIP, GST, PPF, EPF, HRA, gratuity, gold loans, LIC maturity, currency conversion and more, in one place, available in 11 Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia, and English.
The idea behind CalBharat is simple: most financial calculators online are either in English only, cluttered with intrusive ads, or buried inside a bank's or broker's website trying to sell you a product. CalBharat is built to be fast, ad-light, and genuinely useful, a calculator you can open on your phone in your own language, get a straight answer, and move on.
CalBharat is a solo, self-funded project, not a bank, NBFC, insurer, or government body, and not affiliated with the RBI, EPFO, LIC, or Income Tax Department. Interest rates, tax slabs, and other figures shown here are kept as current as possible and cross-checked against official sources, but they're provided for general estimation only.
